Inadequate infection control can lead to severe consequences, including patient infections or fatalities. The quality of water utilised in cleaning Reusable Medical Devices (RMDs) is pivotal in infection prevention, addressing both microbial and chemical concerns.

Microbial purity is unattainable with chemically impure water. The presence of nutrients like Ammonia, Calcium, Phosphate, and Iron in water encourages bacteria proliferation, leading to potential patient harm. These nutrients contribute to staining and spotting on RMDs, providing breeding grounds for harmful bacteria.

Our holistic approach ensures every aspect of the decontamination process is secure, from chemical purification to proactive disinfection procedures, guaranteeing traceability. Maintaining water quality compliance is indispensable in delivering superior patient care.

A well-designed and meticulously maintained purified water plant not only curtails the spread of hospital-acquired infections but also streamlines reprocessing times, thereby reducing surgery waiting periods.

AS5369:2023 Compliance

We adhere to AS5369:2023 compliance rigorously. Our bespoke water treatment solutions are engineered to meet the unique needs of each site. From analysing feedwater quality to determining the number of user points and their respective water requirements, we meticulously craft tailored solutions for long-term compliance.

Utilizing automated disinfection processes validated for controlling bacteria and biofilm, we ensure optimal water quality throughout the lifecycle of the plant. Our implementation of critical design protocols guarantees both chemical and microbial compliance, safeguarding patient health and regulatory adherence.

Renal Dialysis

Contamination Control

With therapy outcomes centred on enhancing the quality of life for individuals undergoing Haemodialysis, we recognize the critical importance of every stage in the water purification process.

Haemodialysis patients encounter over 360 litres of water weekly, making them vulnerable to health risks from contaminated water. Any lapse in the decontamination chain could significantly impact the quality of life for individuals with chronic kidney failure. We meticulously tailor solutions for each hospital or renal clinic, spanning from the building’s entry point to every dialysis machine.

Purified Water

Our purified water solutions employ a minimum two-stage filtration process with thermal disinfection, effectively controlling chemical and microbial contaminants.

We acknowledge the importance of water recovery without compromising purity levels. Hence, we utilize the HercoPur RO System*, which integrates a three-way reduction of water consumption. Through demand-based control, concentrate recirculation, and concentrate adjustment for maximum utilization, our system delivers up to a remarkable 50% reduction in water consumption compared to traditional RO systems. With a guaranteed recovery rate exceeding 75%, our solutions prioritize sustainability while maintaining stringent purity standards.
