Southland Filtration Pty Ltd was privileged to work with Multiplex and Getinge on this landmark project to supply a turnkey solution for the design, supply, install, and commissioning of RO (Reverse Osmosis) water systems to deliver AS/NZS 4187:2014 compliant water to CSSD and Endoscopy. Key portions included:
- 2 x purified water systems supplying CSSD
- 1 x purified water system supplying Endoscopy
- 3 x orbitally welded food grade SS316 RO ringmains
- Seismic restraints for all equipment and ringmains, in accordance with AS1170.4
The RO system for Endoscopy supplies compliant water via a dedicated ringmain at ambient temperature and the RO systems for CSSD deliver water at elevated temperature for the efficient operation of the department. All systems have fully automatic in-built thermal disinfection programs, to minimise biofilm growth and to meet microbial compliance for the life of the plant.
